Rockstar released the launch trailer for “Grand Theft Auto VI” on Thursday, a 90 second look at Jason and Lucia’s story captured in game on a PlayStation 5, with the game now 35 days out.
It opens at a marina in the Keys, where Jason Duval is working on boats and talking about how his time in the Army ended badly. Then his phone rings, and it is a prison call from Lucia Caminos, the other half of the story, still locked up when the trailer starts.

From there it is the two of them against the whole state of Leonida: Lucia out with an ankle monitor on, robberies, police chases, and a bank vault getting hauled through the sky by a helicopter. The whole trailer plays like a promise that whatever easy score they try first is going to go wrong.
We stuck together through everything. Just gotta get through it.
The music is news by itself. French duo Justice composed the game’s original score, and the trailer debuts their new single “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The song is out now and lands on the game’s official album.

This is the third trailer Rockstar has put out, after December 2023 and May 2025, and the first new footage since the “Extended Look” in August. It is already doing numbers: the post on Rockstar’s own Instagram pulled in more than 2 million likes within hours.

“Grand Theft Auto VI” arrives November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Five weeks left, and Rockstar just made the wait louder.
