Hood Warfare 2, a Five Dollar Shooter Where Gangs Fight Over Chicago, Just Blew Up

"Hood Warfare 2" hit Steam on October 8 for five dollars. It is a chaotic multiplayer shooter where rival gangs battle for control of Chicago, and tonight it is blowing up.

The setup is simple. Pick a gang, pick a gun, spin the block. The sequel moves the action from Detroit, where the original 2023 game was set, to Chicago, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5.

Six modes carry the chaos: Turf War, GangBang, Chaos, Hit A Lick, Destroy The Block, and Chain Snatch. That last one is exactly what it sounds like. You snatch chains off the players you take out.

The game just had its biggest day ever on Steam, hitting an all-time peak of 1,450 players today, and clips of the madness are ripping across the timeline tonight.

"Spin the block and take over the streets in this chaotic multiplayer FPS."

For five dollars, it is hard to beat.
