Boosie Badazz’s Son Ivy Hatch, 18, Arrested on Armed Robbery and Battery Charges in Louisiana, Bond Set at $275,500

Boosie Badazz’s 18-year-old son Ivy Ray Hatch was arrested Thursday in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, on armed robbery and aggravated battery charges. He was back out the same day on a $275,500 bond.

“The victim in this case reported being battered and robbed. Our investigation led to two arrests: Ivy Hatch and a juvenile. More arrests are expected as our investigation continues.”

Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard

Deputies got the battery complaint Wednesday night on Buffwood Street in Denham Springs. The victim said he had been beaten and robbed, and the investigation led deputies to Hatch and a juvenile, who were both picked up the next day, according to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. The juvenile was taken to the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center.

Hatch was booked on armed robbery, aggravated second-degree battery, possession of a firearm with drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. TMZ reported a fifth charge, possession with intent to distribute drugs. WBRZ reported two more people were arrested in the same investigation: Antonio Cooley, 19, and Calei Ely, 18.

Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, declined to comment when TMZ reached out. He has been in New York this week promoting his Boosie Network venture, which he has been calling the new Netflix.

It is the second time in two years one of his sons has been arrested. His older son Tootie Raww was arrested in Atlanta last year on an obstruction charge, and Boosie talked then about worrying over the crowd around his kids.

“I gotta stop him from crashing out… Got me worried as a daddy.”

The charges against Ivy Hatch are allegations, and he has not been convicted of anything in this case. The sheriff’s office has not said what was taken in the alleged robbery or how badly the victim was hurt.
