Aaron Rodgers Passed Peyton Manning for Third on the All Time Touchdown List, and He Did It in the First NFL Game Ever Played in Paris

Aaron Rodgers is 42, in what he says is his final season, and still climbing over Hall of Famers. His 4 yard touchdown pass to Darnell Washington in Paris on Sunday was the 540th of his career, moving him past Peyton Manning into sole possession of third place on the all time list.

The touchdown was also the first one ever scored in France. A 51 yard strike to DK Metcalf set it up, and Pittsburgh beat New Orleans 16 to 10 at Stade de France in the first regular season game ever played in Paris. Rodgers finished 19 of 30 for 212 yards with no interceptions, and scrambled for 8 yards on third down late to help run out the clock.

Only two quarterbacks are left in front of him now: Tom Brady at 649 and Drew Brees at 571. Brees is 31 away, which is not happening in one farewell season, so third place is almost certainly where Rodgers finishes. He is also the first quarterback to play regular season games in four different countries, after stops in London with Green Bay and the Jets and in Dublin with Pittsburgh last year.
