LeBron James was in Cleveland playing a game on Friday night while police back in Los Angeles were arresting a man at his home, a man who reportedly told officers he believes he is James’s son.

Security at the Los Angeles property spotted the man on surveillance cameras around 9 p.m. Friday and called it in as a possible burglary. Officers showed up, found the man on the property, and arrested him on a felony stalking charge. Police confirmed the call and the arrest. He never got inside the house.
The man reportedly told officers he believed he was James’s son.
James, 41, signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in July after eight seasons with the Lakers, and he still keeps the Los Angeles place. He has not commented, and police have not released the man’s name or said how long he had been around the property.

For the record, James has three children, and none of them is this man. Bronny plays for the Lakers, Bryce plays at Arizona, and Zhuri is his daughter with his wife Savannah.
A stalking report was filed, and that is all police have put out so far. Whatever the man was hoping to get out of the visit, what he got was a felony stalking charge.
