LeBron James Went Off on a Courtside Knicks Fan Chirping About His Helicopter Rides, and Spike Lee Had to Step In

A Knicks fan paid courtside money to spend his night chirping LeBron James about his helicopter rides. Late in the second quarter at the Garden, LeBron finally gave him his money’s worth.

The fan had been on him about the commute story all night. LeBron flies in for Sixers practice by helicopter, and the whole league has been talking about it, with team owners even tipping off reporter Pablo Torre about the free rides. A courtside seat at MSG turned out to be close enough to make it personal.

I’m not from the West Coast! I’m from Ohio, baby! F*** is you talking about?

LeBron turned to the seats and let him have it, and every phone in the front row came up. Spike Lee, in his usual courtside spot, stepped in and helped settle things down before it went any further.

Year 24, new team, same LeBron. Opening night at the Garden, and he is already giving the front row a show they did not pay for.
