UK police edited a real car chase like GTA 6 and told the driver he is in prison for release day
Derbyshire Police in England posted a real car chase to TikTok on Tuesday, edited like a Grand Theft Auto mission, and used it to tell the driver he picked the worst possible month to get himself locked up.
According to the department, the driver admitted dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, drug driving and cannabis possession, and he is now behind bars for 14 months. GTA 6 lands November 19, so release day comes and goes without him.
Could’ve just waited a few more weeks for GTA 6 to drop. Now he’s in prison for release day.

The edit is the department’s own work, wanted stars, minimap and all, and the comments caught the one mistake in it: he only gets five stars, and six is the whole point this time around.
Thirteen years the world waited on this game. He held out until the final three weeks and then went and lived it in real life, where the sentence is the loading screen.
