Fousey Stepped on Stage at His First NPC Bodybuilding Show and Walked Away With a First Place Finish

Fousey walked into his first NPC bodybuilding show this weekend and walked out with three medals, including a first place finish in Men’s Physique Masters 35+.

He posted the results himself on Saturday night: first place in Masters 35+, second place in True Novice, and second place in the Open. Three classes entered, three medals earned, and the gold came in a division full of guys his own age who live in the gym.

The win was only half the story for him. In a post titled “REMEMBER YOUR WHY,” he posed with his mom and dad wearing all three medals and said giving them a reason to celebrate him, after all the times he gave them reasons to worry, was the real prize.

“Moments like these mean more to me than any trophy around my neck.”

Anyone who watched his livestream era knows why that lands. The bodybuilding run has been his reset: early mornings, strict dieting, posing practice, and a feed full of gym progress instead of chaos. Stepping on an NPC stage and placing in every class he entered is the receipt that the reset is real.
