Adrien Broner Was Cuffed and Put in a Police Car During a Beverly Hills Video Shoot, Then Let Go Without an Arrest

Adrien Broner was handcuffed in Beverly Hills on Sunday evening during a music video shoot with DeenTheGreat, put in the back of a police car, and then let go. Law enforcement sources say he was never actually arrested.

Footage from the scene shows the former champion being led in cuffs past a crowd in the Beverly Hills business district, his hands behind his back, before an officer placed him in the back of a police vehicle. Sources say Broner was ultimately cut loose, and it is not clear why he was released or whether he received a citation. Police had not provided an update by Monday morning.

The shoot was for “Fuck Cuh,” his record with DeenTheGreat, the streamer and influencer boxer Broner has been running with on Kick. Clips spread Sunday night with posts claiming the whole team had been arrested, and people on camera at the scene said police rolled up after reports about the shoot, which had the crew performing in the street.

What the clips actually show is a shoot getting shut down and a crew getting detained on the sidewalk, with Broner grinning by the van, about as unbothered as a man in that spot can look. Nobody in the footage is booked, charged, or taken away for good.

Broner, 37, won world titles in four divisions before his career slid into long layoffs and viral stream moments. This one ended the way a lot of his recent headlines end: loud, on camera, and with everybody walking away.
