Devin Booker gave a car creator a tour of his garage and claimed he spent $115 million building his car collection. The internet did the math in about four seconds and called cap.
The video shows Booker walking through his private garage showing off around 19 cars, including a Corvette ZR1X, multiple Chevy Impalas, three Buick Grand Nationals, and a 1957 Bel Air he says is worth $3.5 million because it is customized to look like the Suns’ El Valle city edition jerseys. There is also a 1996 Impala from his birth year that he says reminds him of the one his uncle used to drive.
Fans are not buying the number. Not even close. “Nice man cave, but all those cars combined don’t exceed $5M, let alone $115M lol,” one commenter wrote. Another figured the other $114 million must be hiding in a car trunk. The comments turned into an instant audit, and every line item came up short.
For the record, Booker is on a five-year, $316 million deal with the Suns, so the money exists. But $115 million on 19 Chevys? The math is not mathing, and the comments know it.
