Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd speaking at the October 30 news conference announcing 281 arrests

281 Arrested in a Florida Sex Sting, Including 13 Disney World Workers, a Youth Football Coach and a Deputy

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced Friday that a seven-day undercover operation arrested 281 people in Central Florida, and 17 of them told detectives they work at local theme parks: 13 at Disney World and four at Universal Studios.

The operation, called “Polk Around and Find Out II,” is the largest sting in the county’s history, according to Judd. Deputies filed 198 felony and 290 misdemeanor charges: 239 arrests tied to prostitution, 31 to alleged child predators, and 11 others. Eleven human trafficking victims were identified and offered help.

Seven of the 17 theme park workers were arrested as alleged child predators. Judd said the Disney employees who were still working there have been fired.

Collin Klaco, 24, told detectives he used to dress up as Mickey Mouse at Disney World. He allegedly messaged an undercover detective posing as the guardian of a 13-year-old boy, and detectives say they found diapers and wipes in the backpack he carried into the undercover house. He is charged with traveling to meet a minor and attempted lewd or lascivious battery, among other counts.

“Well, now he’s a jailbird character, and that’s where he needs to be.”

Rashion Crayton, 31, is the head coach of the Davenport Titans youth football team, coaching kids ages 11 to 14. He allegedly sent explicit messages to an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl. Judd called him the “worst of the worst” and said the messages were too graphic to repeat at the podium.

Adam Snyder told detectives he works in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and part of his uniform and his Disney badge were found in his car. An Orange County deputy, Eric Raymond, who works as a school resource deputy at an elementary school, was arrested for allegedly soliciting a prostitute.

Every charge in the operation is an allegation. None of the 281 has been convicted. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna reacted to the Disney arrests on X, writing that “Disney needs to do a better job.”
