UFC Fighter King Green Totaled His Custom Range Rover in a Crash That Happened Live on His Own Stream

King Green was streaming live from his custom Range Rover in Hollywood on Sunday night when the drive ended in a crash in the middle of an intersection, all of it on camera.

The clip starts from the back seat, Green at the wheel on Hollywood Boulevard with the music up. Seconds later the camera gets knocked sideways in the impact. When it settles, Green is standing in the intersection looking at a white Jeep Compass locked into the side of his Rover while fire trucks roll up.

Green called the Rover his baby and said on the stream that it was totaled. He said the other driver turned left in front of him at the last second and that he had the green light. Plenty of people who watched the clip back argued that a red light in the video tells a different story, and that argument is most of what this clip has turned into.

“We just got in a car accident, hopefully the people are okay. That car is my baby too, it’s totaled.”

Nobody in the clip looks hurt, and Green spent the aftermath walking the scene and giving his information while his car got towed. When people around him talked about going after the other driver for money, he shut it down: “I’m not trying to do that to nobody,” he said, adding that he was not trying to mess up anybody’s life over a car.

It has been that kind of month for the 40-year-old lightweight. Green (36-18-1) got knocked out by Esteban Ribovics at UFC 332 earlier this month, which snapped a four-fight win streak, and last month he said he had recently been homeless and living out of his car. This Rover was clearly the thing he was proudest of, which is why “it’s totaled” lands the way it does.

“Sh*t happens,” Green said on the stream. Live, in his own car, in front of everybody watching. It really did.
