The cease and desist did not work, and neither did the court petition, so 50 Cent put a price on it. On Monday he filed a federal lawsuit in Los Angeles against Tia Kemp seeking at least $6 million, a second case on top of the Florida petition TRIIP reported that night.

The suit was filed on behalf of his 14 year old son. It accuses Kemp of defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress over her posts about the teenager, and says she kept posting after the cease and desist. Those are allegations in a complaint, not a court finding, and Kemp had not filed a formal response in the reporting as of Tuesday.
“It’s not ok to bully minors online. That gangster granny act is not gonna work, no white flags.”

Kemp answered the way Kemp answers things. On TikTok she called him “15 Cent,” said he started this fight and cannot bully her, dragged up his 2015 bankruptcy. Then came the graphic styled like a GoFundMe campaign, asking for the same $6 million, money needed by Monday. No real campaign has been confirmed. It reads as a joke aimed straight at him.
The feud started with her family, not his. After William Roberts III, her son with Rick Ross, was reportedly assaulted near Bethune-Cookman University, 50 mocked it and offered to bond out the accused man. Kemp went after 50’s family in return, his lawyers sent the cease and desist, and she posted it and kept going.
Now two courts hold pieces of it: Florida decides whether she has to stop, California decides what the posts already up might cost her. Her own deadline, for the record, is Monday.
