Kimberly Guilfoyle, the former Fox News host and one-time fiancée of Donald Trump Jr. who now serves as America’s ambassador to Greece, is under a federal ethics probe after a recording caught her bragging about billionaires bankrolling her luxury travel.
The Wall Street Journal reviewed audio from January’s World Economic Forum in Davos. Guilfoyle was trying to talk her way into a dinner for Eric Trump and told an American businessman on the guest list she could deliver the world to him, name-dropping two Greek tycoons.
“You know, I can deliver the world to you. Which you deserve.”
The Journal reports she flew to Davos on a jet owned by Alexandros Exarchou, CEO of construction firm Aktor Group, planned to take shipping magnate Nikolas Tsakos’s jet to Paris, and Tsakos covered her Four Seasons George V stay. She posted 20 photos from the hotel for her two million Instagram followers.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio would not discuss it during a visit to Athens this week. He still called Guilfoyle a strong ambassador.
The older allegation is wilder. Last week the Journal reported that days before her Senate confirmation hearing in July 2025, Guilfoyle texted Trump donor Eric Deters asking him to wire $100,000 straight to American Express for her personal credit card bill.
“Honey please I need you to get this done for me today. It won’t show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express.”
Deters declined, called it a quid pro quo, and said she promised to be his ride or die in the Trump world if the money came through. Her lawyer Jesse Binnall disputes the messages are authentic.
The State Department’s inspector general has opened a review. Rep. Gregory Meeks wants a bribery and corruption investigation and her testifying under oath. Officials are reportedly weighing her removal before the midterms.

Guilfoyle has not publicly addressed the allegations.
