Mike Tyson at Trump’s Syracuse Rally: “There’s No Way I Would Be Here If It Wasn’t for a President Like Donald Trump”

Mike Tyson took the stage at Donald Trump’s rally in Syracuse, New York on Friday night and told the crowd there’s no way he’d be there if it wasn’t for “a president like Donald Trump.”

Trump brought Tyson out during the rally at the Oncenter, joking that he didn’t want to fight him and telling the boxing legend he looks better now than he did 30 years ago. Tyson grabbed the mic and returned the love.

“There’s no way I would be here if it wasn’t for a president like Donald Trump.”

The two have history. Trump hosted Tyson’s fights back in the eighties, and Tyson has backed him for years. Friday was just the loudest version of it, on a stage, in front of thousands.

“I think he looks better today than he did 30 years ago.”

The rally was for Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman ahead of the November midterms. Tyson flew in with Trump on Air Force One after stopping by the White House earlier in the day.

Two of the most famous men on earth, one stage, zero chill.
