Too Short Apologizes For Saying He Would Attend Diddy’s Welcome Home Party

Too Short is walking it back. After catching heat for saying he would pull up to Diddy’s welcome home party when the mogul gets out of prison, the Bay Area legend posted an apology video saying he was insensitive and did not know the full extent of the case against Diddy.

“I do not condone abuse in any kind of way, not emotional, not physical, not sexual,” Short said, apologizing to the women in his life, including his daughter, her mother, and his late mother. He clarified the party comment meant the big social gatherings Diddy throws for friends, not the freak offs described at trial. “I’ve been to dozens of his parties, and never once have I seen a naked person or a sexual act.”

The original comments came on the TMZ Podcast last week, where Short said he still considers Diddy a friend and planned to attend the coming home celebration. Diddy remains at FCI Fort Dix on a 50 month federal sentence, with a projected release date of January 21, 2028.
