For two years, the Isaiah Stewart and Drew Eubanks tunnel incident lived on as paperwork and he-said-he-said. Now there is video.
Surveillance footage obtained by Fox 10 Phoenix shows what happened on February 14, 2024, in a parking tunnel at the Footprint Center, hours before the Suns were set to host the Pistons. Stewart walks in. Eubanks is waiting. It goes bad fast. Stewart puts a shoulder into Eubanks’ chest, then lands a punch near his mouth that left Eubanks bloodied. A shove follows, security steps in, and it is over.
The aftermath is a matter of record. Eubanks suffered minor injuries. Stewart was arrested, cited and released. The misdemeanor charge was later dropped, per reports. The NBA suspended Stewart for three games. The Suns called the whole thing “unprovoked.” Then-Pistons coach Monty Williams pushed back on that framing. Eubanks himself called it a “sucker punch.”
Both men have new teams now. Stewart is with the Memphis Grizzlies after a six-team trade in July, and Eubanks is now a Knick, per reports. But footage landing two years later gives the story a second life, and the clip is doing exactly what you would expect online.
