Sean “Diddy” Combs is out of Fort Dix. The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed on Friday that Combs was transferred to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania, and the bureau is not saying why he was moved.

His spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said placement decisions belong to the bureau and that Combs is focused on moving forward, hoping his time at the new facility is “productive and without unnecessary disruption.”
Allenwood holds about 1,000 inmates. Fort Dix holds about 4,000. Both prisons are low security, so this was not a move to a tougher lockup. It looks like a move to a smaller yard that is easier to watch, and it comes after a rough few weeks for Combs in New Jersey.
Fort Dix holds about 4,000 inmates. Allenwood holds about 1,000. Same security level, a much smaller yard.
In late September, NBC News reported that Combs had a contraband phone and alcohol at Fort Dix, with other inmates cooking, cleaning and giving him massages. He was placed in solitary, lost good time credit, and his release date slid to March 2, 2028.
Last Saturday, Combs was taken to a hospital with a head injury. TMZ reported the injury came from a fight with Christopher “Dudus” Coke, a claim the bureau and Combs’ family have both said is false. Nobody in charge has explained how he got hurt.

Now the bureau has moved him to Allenwood, south of Williamsport, about 155 miles west of New York City. The official reason is locked up tight. The pattern is not: Fort Dix was not working for Combs, or for the people running it.
