Yung Miami Ends Her Debut Album With a Letter to JT: “Sis, We Could’ve Made History”

Yung Miami dropped her debut solo album “Watch Dis” today, and she saved the most personal song for last. The closing track, “Dear JT,” is a letter straight to JT, her City Girls sister.

Over a Diana Ross “Missing You” sample, Miami admits she misses JT and calls their public fallout embarrassing. “Fallin’ out with my sister in public, so embarrassing,” she raps. “Now we ain’t seeing eye to eye, I wonder why.”

“Sis, we could’ve made history.”

She says she held it down when JT went in, and she remembers when the two of them were thick as thieves. She calls them “the modern-day Thelma and Louise” and admits she has been reminiscing about 2018, before the money, the solo runs, and the distance.

City Girls split in 2024 and both women went solo. XXL and Apple Music both singled out “Dear JT” as the emotional centerpiece of the album, and JT has not said anything back yet. Her answer is the only thing the timeline is waiting on.
