Cardi B Cut Latto’s Name Out of ‘ErrTime’ at Her Tiny Desk Debut and Put Kelly Rowland in Her Place

Cardi B finally did the Tiny Desk on Monday, and the loudest moment in the whole set was a name that was not there anymore. Halfway through “ErrTime,” she cut Latto’s shout-out clean out of the song.

The original line shouted Latto out by name. At the desk, Cardi rapped it about Kelly Rowland instead, and the second time through she put her sister Hennessy Carolina in the spot.

“Bad brown bitch, she look like Kelly in this motherf***er.”

That swap has a whole history behind it. Last September, leaked audio from a heated phone call caught Cardi calling Latto “pussy,” right after the two had collaborated on the “ErrTime” remix. Cardi apologized in public. Latto was not ready to let it go, and answered on “Gimmie Dat,” a track on her 2026 album “Big Mama.”

Kelly Rowland, for her part, loved getting drafted into it. She reposted the clip to her Instagram Stories with “Get it Cardi!!!” and Cardi shared it right back with an “I love youuuu!!!”

It was not the only lyric she touched. On “Be Careful,” the karma line became “And karma for you? Well, you see it!” The full set ran eight songs with a live band led by Adam Blackstone, and NPR says so many fans showed up that people had to be turned away.
