Megan Thee Stallion finally got her wings on Sunday night, performing “Her” on the Victoria’s Secret runway in Los Angeles in a black lace set, huge silver wings and thigh high stockings.
She has wanted this one for a long time. Megan tweeted back in 2011 that she would be a Victoria’s Secret model when she grew up, and when the booking became official last month, she told fans her dream had finally come true.
“Tune in October 18 to see me get my wings.”
The show streamed live from Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, with KATSEYE, Tate McRae and Megan Moroney also performing. The livestream pulled more than 3 million viewers at its peak, and Megan’s set was the moment the whole night had been building toward.
Fifteen years after that tweet, she did not just walk the show. She performed in it, wings on and microphone in hand.
