Kylie Jenner surprised everybody on Sunday night, walking the Victoria’s Secret runway in Los Angeles for the first time in her life, wearing the Fantasy Bra. Nobody outside the show knew she was getting the honor until she stepped out in the wings.
The bra is the whole story by itself. It was built with Jacob & Co., covered in 4,410 natural diamonds, with a 75.54 carat yellow center diamond valued at $22 million. All in, it is worth $50 million, weighs just under four pounds, and took 15 craftspeople more than 1,000 hours to finish. It is the first Fantasy Bra on the runway since 2018, and the most expensive one ever made.

Her mom Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet were in the front row cheering her on at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, the show’s first Los Angeles staging in 19 years.

The reaction split straight down the middle. Longtime Angel fans argued the Fantasy Bra should have gone to a career Angel, while everybody else pointed at the obvious: putting Kylie in it is exactly why the whole night was trending. Between her debut and Megan Thee Stallion’s performance, this was the moment of the show.
