A streamer at Ice Poseidon’s Safe Zone event in Austin kept calling Kanel Joseph the N-word on a live stream and dared him to fight. Kanel knocked him down in the street.
Safe Zone is Ice Poseidon’s IRL Battle Royale, a multi day live event in Austin where streamers in camo gear chase each other around the city for a $50,000 prize. Everybody is streaming everything, all day, so the whole thing played out on camera from three angles at once.

The argument started next to a black Escalade, with the streamer filming on a gimbal and the slur getting louder every time he said it. When it finally turned physical, a punch put him on the ground while everybody around them scrambled to pull it apart.

Police showed up not long after and went through the footage on a phone in a parking lot, with the streamers standing right there watching. The fight had been broadcast live, so there was not much left to argue about.

Clips of the fight pulled well over a million views overnight. The streamer asked for the fight on camera, kept reaching for the one word he knew would start it, and got exactly the fight he asked for.
