The ceremony took place in Los Angeles with Outkast being honored as part of this year’s class. André 3000 and Big Boi appeared on stage and accepted the induction. The room reacted the way you’d expect for a group with that level of influence. The night also included several other artists joining the Hall. Cyndi Lauper was inducted. Soundgarden was inducted. The White Stripes were inducted. Bad Company, Chubby Checker, and Joe Cocker were also part of the class. The inductions were presented throughout the night with short speeches and tributes.
