UFC Strikes A Huge Deal With Paramount, Ending Pay-Per-View Model

UFC just signed a massive seven-year, $7.7 billion deal, making Paramount+ the exclusive U.S. home for all fights starting in 2026. The deal covers 13 numbered events and 30 Fight Nights each year, all included in a subscription ending the traditional pay-per-view model. Select major events will also air on CBS for free-to-air reach. This is the biggest media rights contract in UFC history, averaging $1.1 billion annually.

The agreement came together quickly after the Skydance-Paramount merger. Paramount is betting UFC will help boost subscriptions alongside NFL and UEFA soccer. Fans will get cheaper, easier access to all fights in one place. UFC President Dana White called it “historic” for both fighters and fans. The move mirrors streaming trends in other major sports. It also marks the end of UFC’s long-running deal with ESPN.
