Pete Davidson went viral this week for mocking influencers who “make $40 million a year” for “doing nothing.” Sophie Rain, the 22-year-old who pulled in around $40 million herself last year, heard it and fired back.
Her answer was simple: if it’s really that easy, he should go do it. She also called him out for talking about girls making millions without naming anybody, dropping an “@me next time” on the clip.
The part you don’t see in the video: Rain says the money didn’t come easy. She worked as a waitress for three and a half years, grew up on food stamps in Miami, and now lives full time on a farm where she donates part of her income to charity.
