Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger are Going At It over Catalog Rights and Unpaid Publishing

Daz Dillinger posted a video accusing Snoop Dogg of cutting him out of the catalog money, and that would include the long term publishing, royalties, licensing checks, and streaming income tied to the music he helped create during the Dogg Pound and early Death Row era. In his clip, Daz says Snoop tried to pressure him into giving up his share of that catalog and then left his name off credits when he refused. He claims this covers old production work, songwriting splits, and songs that still earn steady income whenever they get streamed, sampled, performed, or licensed. Daz says everything boiled over after their reunion album because he did not see the credit or the backend he expected.

Snoop Dogg responded with his own video, brushing off Daz’s accusations and basically saying Daz is just mad because the business didn’t fall his way. Snoop made it clear he’s not backing down, told Daz to stop playing with his name, and hinted he would “handle it business-wise.”

After that, the back-and-forth got even louder online, with Daz doubling down on his claims and Snoop dismissing the whole thing as jealousy and bad math.
