Quavo finally told his side of the Bentley story, and it starts with God. Sitting down with Yung Miami on Caresha Please to promote his new album QRÖMELIFE, Quavo said the decision to take the car back came from above. “Sometimes God says get something back, you better go get it.”
This is about the ice-blue custom Bentley Continental GT he gave Saweetie for Christmas in 2020, the one with the snowflake details and “Icy” stitched in the headrests. They split in March 2021, rumors started almost immediately that he had the car repossessed, and his camp said at the time the whole thing was false. But then he rapped “She had it her way, now she out of a Bentley” on Migos’ “Having Our Way,” and everybody did the math.
The funny part is the car already came full circle. It turned up at a dealership, and Drake bought it off the lot and gifted it right back to Quavo. And Saweetie already told Yung Miami on this same show back in 2022 that she just went and got herself a Rolls-Royce. God said get something back, and somehow everybody ended up with a car.
