Andre 3000 and Big Boi of OutKast performing on stage together

OutKast’s Big 10/2 Announcement Is a Waffle House Merch Collab

The mystery is solved, and it is breakfast. After a week of cryptic posts that had everybody convinced OutKast was announcing a reunion, the duo revealed the big 10/2 surprise: a limited-edition merch collaboration with Waffle House.

It all goes down today. There is a launch party pop-up at the Waffle House across from Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, 135 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, from 11am to 1pm ET, with a live DJ, free souvenir menus, and limited-edition Andre 3000 and Big Boi meals. Everything hits Outkast.com at 11am ET too.

The collection leans all the way into “So Fresh, So Clean.” Tees, hoodies, bomber jackets, bucket hats, socks, and coffee mugs stamped with “Gator belts and patty melts,” the Big Boi line that basically wrote itself onto a Waffle House menu. Two Atlanta institutions, one table.

And no, it is not an album. The last OutKast record was Idlewild back in 2006, and the comment sections are full of fans who wanted new music and got patty melts instead. Honestly? The most Atlanta outcome possible.
