On the Season 18 premiere, an entrepreneur walked in pitching The Guiding Finger, a little green pointer for highlighting and presenting. MrBeast, sitting in as a guest shark, did something no shark has ever done: he gave the guy $50,000 for 0% of the company. Just handed it over. First time in the show’s history.
The other sharks were stunned. The entrepreneur was stunned. Everybody in that room knew they’d just watched something that never happens on that show.
It’s the most on-brand thing he’s ever done on television. The most cutthroat business show on TV, and MrBeast turned it into a giveaway. The clip is making the rounds today, and honestly it tracks. This is a guy who built an empire giving money away.
