HBO has officially announced Jay-Z in 8, an upcoming eight-part docuseries centered around a series of intimate conversations between Jay-Z and legendary producer Rick Rubin.
Directed by Rubin, the series will explore Jay-Z’s music, lyrics, life experiences, and creative process through candid discussions spanning his decades-long career. Jay-Z in 8 is scheduled to premiere on HBO and HBO Max this fall as Jay-Z continues celebrating the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt.
