Chief Keef finally came home.
Fourteen years after drill music took over the world from Chicago’s South Side, Sosa headlined his first hometown show in the city on Tuesday night at a sold out Huntington Bank Pavilion. And he did not treat it like just another tour stop.
Backed by a full live band, Keef ran through more than two hours of the catalog that made him a legend. Then Chance The Rapper walked out for a surprise performance of “No Problem,” and the building lost its mind. Two Chicago generations on one stage, fourteen years in the making.
The show was originally scheduled for September 12 before being pushed to the 23rd. It opens the Chief Keef Live 2026 nationwide tour, which runs through October 28 when it closes at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas.
Fourteen years is a long time to wait. Tuesday night, Chicago finally got its homecoming.
